Abstract

Since his 2013 election, President Xi Jinping has redefined China’s role in global politics through an expansive economic diplomacy focused on regional integration and building multilateral partnerships under the concepts of “shared destiny” and peaceful coexistence. Xi’s strategy emphasizes economic cooperation, development, and collective security, reflecting China’s core national interests and his vision for global leadership. However, these ambitions carry the risk of disrupting regional power dynamics and pose significant challenges to regional security.
